Welcome to MoonLite Techs! |
MoonLite Techs is a computer consulting firm located in San Diego, California (since 1994) that provides one-stop service for all the computing needs of a business from hardware and software trouble-shooting to networking, security and web-page design. We can recommend and implement technical solutions, as well as maintain your existing systems. We are familiar and work with both Macintosh and Windows computers and design networks that are homogenious to Windows PC, Macintosh and Linux computers.
 |
MoonLite Techs has worked in many disciplines (LAN configurations, webpage design, PC repair and troubleshooting to name a few) and can develop and implement solutions that work for you and your business.
Let us show you some of the projects that we have completed. Check out the projects section of the website for more information. |
We also can perform onsite repairs and troubleshooting for both residential customers in a limited area. We strive to provide excellent service and seek to educate and inform as we work. We are also in the process of putting all of our years of experience into a knowledgebase website, it is a continual work in progress and provide an excellent source of basic information about using and maintaining computers in your home and business.
| We have developed custom networks from small shops to rental car franchises, legal offices and large enterprise businesses. We can also come in and maintain your existing network and resolve technical issues as well as documenting your network. Nearly every business benefits from the sharing of resources and savings that come from working on a network (for example instead of inkjet printers for every computer you could instead purchase 1 or 2 laserjet color printers the quality of output is higher and cost is spread across all network users). |
 |
MoonLite Techs designs your network to be compatible will popular operating systems Microsoft Windows, Apple Macintosh and major flavors of Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat, etc). We can setup and secure your wireless network and even provide quotes on cabling your business or home. If you have recently moved or are getting new high-speed internet cable service we can setup your new service for you.

If you are a gamer consider having a custom LAN configured for the ultimate LAN party, gigabit switches and routers compliment each other and provide the bandwidth for exciting game play when you are going head to head. |
A gaming server on your network can provide DHCP for automatic configuration of network settings providing plug-n-play ease. It can also store entire games so the game are ready whenever you are. Just plug in to the network and boot up, your machine will come up ready for both online and local network play.

With a basic computer today being as good as business machines were of a few years ago and being relatively inexpensive, many homes and home-based businesses now utilitze several computers either a common family computer some or all members of the family having a laptop or other mobile device.
Connecting all of these devices together with a network built-by MoonLite Techs allows you to share information between these devices and could help you realize a savings when purchasing peripherials (printers, storage, scanners, etc).
For example if there are 4 members in a household and they each need to print. You could purchase 4 printers attached to each computer. A better solution would be to connect all of the computers together so they can share files and devices then if you purchase a printer that costs 3x as much as a single printer and everyone can print to it and you save initially on the costs and have a much better device in the long run,
